A space for all the questions we regularly get asked!

Where do I meet the coach for my session?
We use a range of locations to access the excellent network of trails on the Isle Of Man. Here are the main meeting points.

South Barrule – Main Car Park

Archallagan – Car Park 1

Cringle – Reservoir Car Park

If you have booked a session on a particular trail, we’ll send additional details.

What do I need to wear for my session?

Wearing a helmet during the session is compulsory. Full finger gloves are advised for off-road cycling. Please dress appropriately for the weather and riding conditions. They regularly change so be prepared for any conditions!

What do I need to bring to the session?

A bike in full working order. Failure to do so may mean you can’t take part in the session. Please bring anything you usually take with you on an MTB ride. At a minimum we would suggest:

  • Inner tube
  • Pump
  • Snack/food/water
  • Medication that may be needed especially if you are diabetic, use an inhaler or require an Epipen for emergencies.
  • Longer sessions may require additional equipment including basic spares such as a chain link etc.

The weather is poor. Will my session be cancelled?
We only cancel sessions due to extreme weather conditions. For any private or one to one sessions we will contact you directly.
School holiday camps you can check our Facebook page for updates if you are unsure prior to the session as we often have a wet weather contingency.
