Singletrack Skills 6 Week Group Session



Ideal for any riders who have experience mountain biking and want to gain control and confidence over challenging trail features such as ruts, roots, rocks and more! Under guidance from an experienced, most highly qualified MTB coach on island in a relaxed learning environment.

Date: 6 weeks beginning WEDNESDAY 26th JULY 2023, final session WEDNESDAY 30th August 2023

FIRST SESSION TIME: 6:30-8pm at South Barrule WED 26th JULY.

Venue: Moves to a variety of trail networks throughout the course. Meeting point details provided one week prior.

This course will give riders the opportunity to develop more advanced level skills and discover new trails as after the initial two sessions at South Barrule we will move to different locations to apply the skills learnt on the trails that you want to ride!
Many of last years graduates are now racing both Cross Country, Enduro and Downhill.

Our mountain bike group courses are great for riders looking for a cost effective way to learn new skills in a controlled environment. Your qualified coach will give clear step by step instructions so you can progress with a minimal risk of injury.

Group sizes are kept small to maximise the contact time with your coach and ensure the highest quality of coaching. During the course you’ll receive positive feedback on the trail so you can make adjustments to your riding style straight away!

What do I need to wear for this session?

Wearing a helmet during the session is compulsory. Full length clothing (long sleeve jersey)and full finger gloves or knee pads is advised for off-road cycling. Please dress appropriately for the weather and riding conditions. Prepare for changable conditions!

What do I need to bring to the session?

Please bring anything you usually take with you on a ride (inner tube, pump, food, water etc.) ensure your bike is in full working order. Failure to do so may mean you can’t take part in the session.

Do I have to attend every session?

You can attend as many or as few as you wish if you have prior commitments. We’ll do our best to accomodate everyone’s needs. As we move locations many of the skills we cover a relevant to each trail network/location.
