Our mountain bike group courses are great for riders looking for a cost effective way to learn new skills in a controlled environment. Your coach will minimise the risk of injury by giving clear step by step instructions.
Group sizes are kept small to maximise the contact time with your coach and maintains the quality of delivery. During the 2 hour course you’ll receive positive feedback on the trail so you can make adjustments to your riding style straight away!
The group courses we offer are:
New to mountain biking? Want to get the knowledge and learn the techniques to get you riding with confidence? Have you been setting off on a ride without much thought? Then this course is for you!
You will learn to maintain your correct body position when descending, climbing and cornering. You’ll gain confidence to begin tackling more challenging features on the trail..
We’ll make sure your bike setup is appropriate for the riding you do and cover the essential techniques to get you out riding all those fun trails!

‘Trail Flow’ is our most popular course. This course is aimed at riders who want to gain more control, carry more speed and clear more challenging trails. We’ll cover the weighting your bike, pumping, dealing with roots, rocks and ruts to get you flowing down the trail!

Are you a keen racer? Looking for the edge over your competitiors? Line choice, energy management and technical ability are essential for success in all off-road events. On this course we will help you develop your skills to find optimum performance in your chosen discipline.

JUMPS AND DROPS
Looking to take your riding to the next level? Want to know how to tackle that scary drop, jump down the trail or fly over that tabletop?
Then this course is designed for you! We’ll cover the best approach to gain the confidence to tackle drops and jump through the air safely!

Arguably the island most renowned mountain bike challenge, the End 2 End is an event to tick of any rider’s event bucket list. This course is for anyone who wants to reach their event goal. We’ll cover the most technical parts of the course through Arrassey, the ‘pipeline’ and Glen Rushen. We can advise you on your training, bike setup and nutrition for the event.

BMX is a thrilling sport! It’s exciting nature is what we try to bring out in our sessions. We cover the essential techniques required for BMX in a fun, safe and progressive environment.
We currently run summer BMX sessions at Poulsom Park during the summer months (April-September) along with Winter BMX sessions at a range of the islands BMX tracks from October-March.

KIDS – CHILDREN’S SESSIONS
Our children’s coaching sessions are all about having FUN on a bike! Our sessions cleverly disguise the learning aspect so the children think they are just riding. The more the children enjoy riding, the more they participate. This enjoyment leads to greater confidence, which in turn leads to self-initiated participation and independent learning.
We focus on developing the core skills required in all discipline of cycling. We use games and set challenges for riders to experiment and learn at their own speed in a structured and controlled environment.
We also run discipline specific sessions to give children their first taste of the challenges that they might face when riding BMX or Mountain Bikes.
